COVID 19 PRECAUTIONS

MASKS ARE REQUIRED WHILE IN OUR OFFICE. Even though great strides have been made since the vaccinations have become available, a large part of the population is still unprotected. And viruses do what viruses do...they adapt to survive. As long as Covid 19 exists and can circulate in a community, it has the ability to adapt and mutate, and possibly render current vaccinations ineffective. Being in a closed room for extended time, within six feet, as in a massage, we are being extra careful. All three of us are vaccinated, and will take any boosters which become available.

Our Lobby is shut down and clients go directly to their massage room. Areas where clients sit and place their things in the massage room are draped and washed after each client. There are UV and hepa5 filter air cleaners going all day in each treatment room. We wipe down surfaces frequently and sterilize with a UV/ozone light when the office is empty.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMPLIANCE. AFTER ALL, IT IS FOR YOUR SAFETY AS WELL AS OURS.

julia kelly

Mississippi License 913 Louisiana License 3665

Julia worked in accountanting for many years. A back injury led her to massage for pain relief, and a deep interest in massage therapy. She went back to school at Baton Rouge College of Massage Therapy and Blue Cliff Massage Therapy College at New Orleans. She loves her work. It is rewarding and continually interesting. She especially enjoys taking challenging classes for the continuing education requirements like John Barnes Myofascial Release. She belongs to a study group which meets about 3-4 times a year to practice and hone skills and share their experiences.

This profession also provides a somewhat flexible schedule, which allows her the joy of spending time with her two grandchildren.

Monya young

Mississippi License 1995

Monya is a 2001 Graduate of Franklin County High School with honors, and a 2012 recipient of Certificate of Massage Therapy at Southwest Community College. She realized at a young age that massage was beneficial to physical and mental wellness. After graduation she entered into the Athletic Training program at Hinds Community College. Learning about manipulation of the body for treatment of ailments was very fascinating. She was selected as a football trainer for the school.

After receiving massage as a client for four years, she decided to begin her own massage therapy training at Southwest Community College, while also balancing a job and family. She joined Arabella after graduation.
